Vote Bob Rodericks City Council At-Large

Dear Constituents:

I respectfully ask for your consideration on November 3^rd, as I hope to continue serving as your Councilman-at-Large on our City Council.  As your citywide councilman, I have done my best to represent you with honesty and fairness.  As Council President, my leadership style has been to craft a reasonable consensus when different opinions exist.  I judge each issue in the best interest of the city.  Leadership matters!  While not perfect, I believe that East Providence provides programming for the quality of life our community deserves.

Unfortunately, my opponent declined a debate which was scheduled by the independent ‘League of Women Voters’ as they always have.  Actually, he didn’t reply at all.  That was his right, no problem.  But here are some facts I’d like you to know about my tenure so far:

• Strong leadership during City Council meetings
• Professional discussions with city administration & departments
• Supported over $30M in infrastructure improvements from grants
• Supported $6.5M needed emergency water pipeline connection at zero cost to EP
• Reasonable approach to necessary housing needs
• Beautified and refurbished Willett Pond, Kent Heights Park, Pierce Stadium & most parks
• Provided necessary vehicles & equipment for police & fire departments with grants
• Fully funded school department budgets every year.
• Approved $2.7M of unused high school bond exclusively for school maintenance
• Supported $16M Community/Recreation center at no cost to budget. All grants
• Regularly attended new EPHS and Martin MS building committee meetings
• Responsible budget management resulting in strong financial status for city
• 1% tax increase for FY26 during a difficult state & national economy
• Common sense voting and always accessible to residents
• Consistently respond quickly to your calls, emails & contacts!
• Townie Pride every day, not just at election time!
