Hello All ~ Happy Fall !! I’m looking forward to the beautiful weather in Rehoboth; should be coming soon! Speaking of the Fall, I would like to remind all town residents that Town Offices will be closed on Monday, October 12th for Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples’ Day. Also, on Monday, November 2nd quarterly real estate taxes are due. Tuesday, November 3rd is the State “Gubernatorial” Election – Polls are open 7AM-8PM – Francis Farm Community Complex – 27 Francis Farm Road – Heritage Meeting Hall Building. Finally, Tuesday, November 17th is the Fall Special Town Meeting in Heritage Meeting Hall. Check-in at 6PM, meeting starts promptly at 7PM.

For in-person voting on election day (November 3, 2026) the polls will be open from 7AM-8PM – 27 Francis Farm Road – Francis Farm Community Complex – Heritage Meeting Hall. If you would like to vote in-person early, there will be two-weeks of early voting at the same polling location. Details below:

Final Voter Registration Deadline for the 11-3-2026 General Election will be 9AM-5PM on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at the Heritage Meeting Hall In-Person Early Voting site (address above).
NOTE – 11-3-2026 ELECTION BALLOT CONSISTS OF TWO VOTING CARDS – Whether you are voting on election day, early voting or vote by mail, please note the 11-3-2026 election ballot is a total of three pages. Candidates and the first question appear on the front of page 1, questions 2-6 on the back of page 1 and the second voting card consists of questions 7-9 on the front of page 2. You must process both pages and return them to our office by November 3rd to be counted. If you don’t want to vote on the ballot questions, please return both ballot cards. Questions are detailed in the Red Books you received at home or available online @ https://ma.omniballot.us/sites/25/vg/app/vig/voter-guide/info
Vote by Mail Application Deadline – 5PM, October 27, 2026. Once you receive your ballot, please vote promptly, place the ballot in the manila ballot envelope and sign the required affidavit. Place the sealed ballot envelope in the postage paid white return envelope and return by U.S. mail or place it in the secure ballot drop box at the Town Offices at 340 Anawan Street, Rehoboth.
Mailed Ballots include a postage pre-paid return ballot envelope that is addressed to the Town Clerk's Office. You may return your ballot by mail (please see deadlines below) or hand deliver your ballot by placing it in the secure ballot drop box outside of the Town Offices (if deadline is close to Election Day).
Ballots CANNOT be returned to the polling location on Election Day - they must be returned to the secure ballot drop box located at the Town Offices (340 Anawan Street). Your returned ballot on Election Day will be processed and brought to the polls to be cast by the Town Clerk’s staff.
