Rehoboth Lions Club News Update

Posted

It’s Baaack!! Twenty-four years ago, Rehoboth Lion Russell Latham hosted the first Rehoboth Lions Recognition night! Nominations have been received, and winners have been selected. Please join us on May 21, 2025, at the Hillside Country Club at 7PM to acknowledge and publicly thank your neighbors whose behind the scenes volunteer efforts contribute to make Rehoboth a special place. This is a special night, the cost of the meal is just $40. Our local state representatives will be on hand to award special citations to the winners. To attend, just click on the recognition night link in the upcoming events section of our website and fill out the online form. Please submit early in advance of the April 13th deadline https://rehobothlions.org/event/russell-latham-citizens-recognition-night/.  If you cannot use the online method, feel free to reach out to any Rehoboth Lions Club member for tickets!

Our Health and Welfare committee continues to provide free use of durable medical equipment for our neighbors in need. If you need any assistance, please contact Ray Olivier or Steve Brasier!

For over 53 years, the Rehoboth Lions Club has presented our annual chicken barbecue. Tickets are only $20 for a full chicken bbq meal! Purchase your tickets in advance and come by the American Legion between 11:30 AM and 1 PM on June 1st! This might be an ideal time to invite friends and family to a cookout at your house and leave the grilling to us! Enjoy a great meal and help the Lions support the community at the same time!

Don’t forget our 36th annual Golf Tournament to be held Saturday, September 20th, 2025 at the Swansea Country Club! Save the Date and get three friends together $140 per golfer includes, cart and buffet dinner! Sponsors are also needed. Please visit the Rehoboth Lions Club website at www.rehobothLions.org  for information on this and all our upcoming events!

Proud to be serving our community as president of the Rehoboth Lions Club.
