Girl Scout Troop 989 Learns how to Make Music

The Overtones an a capella group through East End Theatre visited Girl Scout Troop 989 at the East Providence Scout House. During their visit the Overtones shared their knowledge and love for music with the Girl Scouts.

After watching the group perform, the scouts learned about voice parts & harmonies, and together the Girl Scouts and the Overtones participated an interactive song session that combined singing with body percussion & creative movement.

The Girl Scouts had so much fun learning how to use their voice to make music. Thank you to the Overtones for visiting with our troop.
