Cody Alves and Cameron McGavie, students participating in Dighton-Rehoboth High School’s CTE (Career and Technical Education) program, were honored by the Board of Selectmen and Police Chief Louis DiBacco on June 29.
Alves and McGavie helped construct a new display case for the reception area of the Police Department headquarters. DiBacco reached out to Superintendent Bill Runey and Michael Strojny, the Director of the CTE program, for assistance. Advanced Manufacturing and Anawan Glass also contributed materials for the project. “It’s something that’s going to last us for years and years and years,” DiBacco said.
