Kid Librarian of the Month - June 1-30
Ages 7-12 Stop by the Children’s Room to fill out an application for the chance to become the Kid Librarian of the Month. The Kid Librarian of the Month is selected in the last week of the month, and their display will remain on display for the rest of the following month. If chosen, you will be contacted by email or phone. All applications will remain on file.

Summer Reading Challenge, Plant a Seed, READ!
June 24 – August 8
Pre-registration starts June 1
• Register at seekonkpl.beanstack.org or download the Beanstack app
• Log minutes spent reading.
• Set a reading goal. The challenge is to read for at least 20 minutes per day or create your own goal.
• Earn virtual raffle tickets for logged minutes.
• Complete activities and write reviews to earn more raffle tickets.
After 6 hours of reading logged, kids may pick out a little reward at the children’s desk. After registering, keep reading and visit the library weekly to participate in our guessing jar. If you have used the Beanstack platform before, there is no need to create a new account. If you need help resetting your password, contact childrens@seekonkpl.org 

Plant a Seed, Read! Storytime

Ages 2 - 6 Kick off Summer Reading with a special storytime celebrating this year’s theme. Enjoy garden-themed stories and decorate your own pot to take home. Register. In collaboration with the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement grant.

Backyard Band Jams

Ages 2-6 Join Miss Rhonda of Backyard Band Jams for singing, dancing, playing with musical instruments, and more! Register. This program is funded

Ready, Set, Magic!
Wednesday, June 24 at 1:00PM
Ages 3+ Join us for hilarious comedy, amazing magic, and LOTS of fun audience involvement with Mike Bent's AbraKidabra! Register Sponsored by the Friends of the Seekonk Public Library.

Bill Harley in Concert
Thursday, June 25  at 6:00PM
All ages. Kick off your summer with Grammy Winner and local favorite Bill Harley! Register. Sponsored by the Friends of the Seekonk Public Library.

Snail Trail Read and Hike
Monday, June 29  at 10:00AM
Ages 3 - 7. Through stories and a hike, Farmer Sarah from Osamequin Farm will guide patrons through nature. Meets at Osamequin Farm, Walnut St, Seekonk MA. Register.
