Seekonk 8U Football

During regular season we went 9-0 never allowing one point. In the Super Bowl 1 TD was scored against us and in the Regionals 1 TD.

Stats on the year were 304 points for 13 against.

It wasn’t until Seekonk 8U’s 4th game did any team have positive yardage on us and it wasn’t much.

First team in Seekonk to ever win at Regionals- it had never been done before.

We won the Super Bowl 34-7 against Middletown whose only regular season loss was to Seekonk.

We won regionals 32-6. We beat the Mt Hope Cowboys out of Providence RI in a game played in West Haven CT.

24 players 2 team Moms and 7 coaches.

Each game we would start and end with Seekonk on 3 family on 6 and they played like brothers from beginning to end.

Sadly, Pop Warner made the late decision to not allow D2 8U teams to Nationals which had coaches from all around the region reaching out to us letting us know that our team from a little town would have made a huge splash. Divisions are decided by town size.
