Angels’ Care Closet Teams Up with Veterans Memorial Elementary for Less Fortunate Families

Angels’ Care Closet Inc. of Seekonk, MA volunteers loaded a U-haul and a few cars full of food, toiletries, clothing, shoes, new underwear and socks, bedding, and more, to share with some students of Veterans Memorial Elementary in Central Falls and their families November 3, 2021. School staff and donors also volunteered their time to transform the cafeteria into a store with a huge selection of necessities for families to make their selections.

This event was made possible by grant given by Bank Rhode Island to support low-income RI students, Seekonk Walmart for donated goods, Stop & Shop for donated gift cards, and very generous residents. We’d like to take a moment to thank all of those from both Angels’ Care Closet and Veterans Memorial Elementary for all of the time and effort to support these families.
