Victoria Amaral has been hired as the new Assistant Principal at Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School.

Superintendent Bill Runey said Amaral “brings a diverse educational leadership background that includes experience as a classroom teacher, English Department Chair, Dean of Students, Assistant Principal, and district leader focused on student support, attendance, student engagement, and creating positive learning environments.”

“Amaral impressed us with her energy, warmth, and authentic commitment to students,” Runey continued. “She understands that student success is about creating a school where every young person feels welcomed, challenged, supported, and inspired to get involved. I am confident she will be a tremendous addition to our leadership team.”

“I am honored to join the Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School community,” Amaral said. “From my first conversations with district and school leaders, it was evident that DRRHS is a place where people genuinely take pride in their students and are committed to helping them succeed. I look forward to partnering with students, families, faculty, and staff as we continue building a school community where every student feels empowered to do their very best, every day.”

Amaral will officially begin her role this summer in preparation for the beginning of the 2026–2027 school year.
