Hornbine School Happenings For 2026

HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM THE HORNBINE SCHOOL MUSEUM. The Hornbine School has been welcoming elementary students for 58 years to “learn from the past”. This season, we are celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary with many new activities including the chance for students to ‘sign’ the Declaration of Independence in our special exhibit called the “ROAD to REVOLUTION in REHOBOTH”! A day at the Hornbine School is a perfect way to live history. Each student returns home with a Hornbine Pencil and lasting memories of their fun experience. This year, we are developing a “Hornbine School Coloring Book” for the children to enjoy.

We will have colorful magnets available for sale during our OPEN HOUSES each 2nd and 4th Sunday from June to September. Don’t forget to plan on a visit to the school this year while we all celebrate America’s 250th anniversary. The Hornbine School Museum is located at 146 Hornbine Road in Rehoboth.
