East Bay Retired Teachers Association Fall luncheon

The East Bay Retired Teachers Association will be holding a fall meeting on Thursday, November 19, 2026, at the Grist Mill in Seekonk, Ma. The business meeting will commence at 11:30 am followed by the scholarship raffle. The luncheon menu consists of salad, entree, rolls and cinnamon bread, dessert and assorted soft drinks, tea and coffee at a cost of $30 which includes tax and gratuity. The selections are prime rib, turkey dinner or baked scrod. Please submit your check and selection to Anne Laderer 18 Monmouth Dr. Riverside, R.I. 02915 by November 13, 2026. Our program consists of Carl Sweeney CEO of Hope and Faith LLC who will explain his community organization that provides food, clothing, school activities including the Kindness Clubs and outreach programs providing necessities to veterans and honoring other service providers. Our project will be providing $10 Shaw’s gift cards to be distributed to our neighbors in need to help with the purchase of Thanksgiving dinner, mainly the purchase of a turkey and other foods to celebrate the holiday. Gift cards or monetary donations would be greatly appreciated. Please remember to bring your new raffle items which provide (2) $1000 awards to deserving Seniors from East Providence High School and Mt. Hope High School.
