January 20, 2026 –Rehoboth, MA– Palmer River Elementary School pre-kindergarten teacher Rayna Bouchard has been nominated for National Life Group’s 2025-26 LifeChanger of the Year award. National Life Group’s LifeChanger of the Year recognizes and rewards the very best K-12 educators and school district employees across the United States who are making a difference in the lives of students by exemplifying excellence, positive influence, and leadership.
Bouchard was nominated by Jacob Graff, a parent of a student, for her extraordinary ability to connect with and support her students, making a profound impact on children and families alike.
“My son started school just after turning three. On his second day, he began crying at drop-off. But that day, something surprising happened. He recognized Mrs. Bouchard and, through his tears, reached out for her voluntarily. She was the first person outside of our family he ever turned to for comfort. At that moment, I knew she was extraordinary,” said Graff.
Bouchard’s ability to build trust, warmth, and a nurturing environment allows children to feel safe, supported, and confident from their very first days at school.
“She creates the kind of trust and warmth that children sense instinctively. She is 100% deserving of this award,” said Graff.
