N. DIGHTON, MA — The Dighton-Rehoboth Regional School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Victoria Amaral as the new Assistant Principal at Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School.
Dr. Amaral brings a diverse educational leadership background that includes experience as a classroom teacher, English Department Chair, Dean of Students, Assistant Principal, and district leader focused on student support, attendance, student engagement, and creating positive learning environments. Throughout her career, she has focused on creating positive school cultures where students feel connected, supported, and empowered to succeed.
Following an extensive interview process, Dr. Amaral emerged as the clear choice for the position because of her student-centered philosophy, collaborative leadership style, and genuine enthusiasm for building strong relationships with students, families, and staff.

She understands that student success is about creating a school where every young person feels welcomed, challenged, supported, and inspired to get involved. I am confident she will be a tremendous addition to our leadership team."
As Assistant Principal, Dr. Amaral will partner closely with Principal Dustin Demers and the faculty and staff to support student achievement, strengthen school culture, and continue advancing the school's commitment to providing opportunities that meet the needs and interests of every learner.
"Throughout the interview process, it became clear that Dr. Amaral shares our vision for DRRHS," said Principal Dustin Demers. "She believes in building strong relationships, supporting our faculty, and creating opportunities for every student to find their place. She will be an outstanding partner as we continue building a high school with something for everyone."
Dr. Amaral expressed her enthusiasm for joining the Falcon family.
"I am honored to join the Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School community," said Dr. Amaral. "From my first conversations with district and school leaders, it was evident that DRRHS is a place where people genuinely take pride in their students and are committed to helping them succeed. I look forward to partnering with students, families, faculty, and staff as we continue building a school community where every student feels empowered to do their very best, every day. "
Dr. Amaral will officially begin her role this summer in preparation for the opening of the 2026–2027 school year. Her appointment reflects the District's continued commitment to attracting outstanding educators and leaders as we continue DRiving Toward 2030, ensuring that every student has access to exceptional opportunities and a high-quality educational experience.
