Updated Travel Order Reminder
January 7, 2021
Dear Dighton-Rehoboth Regional School District Community Members:
We hope all of our families experienced a safe and healthy vacation break. The district would like to remind anyone who has traveled to a high-risk state (all of the U.S except Hawaii) or abroad must adhere to the Massachusetts Travel Order and our district’s travel policy.
- Upon entering/re-entering Massachusetts from any out-of-state location deemed high risk (all of the U.S except Hawaii), all non-exempt travelers must quarantine for ten days.
- The alternative to a quarantine period is: to have received a negative PCR test result within 72 hours of arrival in Massachusetts. Thus testing can be initiated in the state visited.
- The school nurse must receive a copy of the negative PCR test result before a studentmay attend in-person learning. A child is eligible to participate in the remote platform while quarantining.
Please see the Massachusetts Travel Order at COVID-19 Travel Order or reach out to yourrespective school nurse via email for additional questions or concerns.
