World Thinking Day “Our World, Our Peaceful Future: The environment, peace and security”
Young girls interested in joining East Providence Girl Scouts are invited to celebrate World Thinking Day on April 29th at the East Providence Senior Center, 610 Waterman Ave, East Providence, RI 02914. During this event, Girl Scouts and young guests (school age girls between kindergarten and high school) will be “travelers” and visit different countries around the globe. At each country’s booth, travelers will learn facts about different countries and about Girl Scouting in those countries. In honor of this year’s theme, travelers will also be introduced to different ways to take care of our environment.
Students interested in attending must RSVP by 4/17 via email to firstname.lastname@example.org RSVP numbers will ensure we have enough supplies for all attendees. Only pre-registered guests will be allowed to attend the event. Check in for guests will be between 9:30am-9:50am at the front doors of the senior center. An adult must stay on site with registered guests. (Please note this program is for school aged children only – so younger siblings or guests can not attend due to space constraints.) The event will end between Noon - 12:30
