Geraldine Ballou

Geraldine Ballou, 98, of East Providence, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at her home. She was the wife of the late Herbert N. Ballou, Sr.

Born in East Providence, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Dorothy (Gardner) Costa. Mrs. Ballou worked at the B.A. Ballou Company before she retired.

She leaves two children, Herbert N. Ballou, Jr of East Providence and Kyle L. Ballou-Johns and her husband, Dr. Keith D. Johns of Hamden, CT. and two grandsons, Keith F. Johns and Kevin B. Johns. She was the sister of the late Lorraine Roomes, George, Manuel, Donald, Roland and Ellery Costa.

Her funeral service and visitation will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a service to follow at 12:00 PM. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Providence.
