Annette Florence (Campeau) Roy, 91, of East Providence, Rhode Island, passed away on October 27, 2026.
Annette was the beloved wife of the late Douglas Bruce Roy, with whom she shared 63 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in 2018. Together, they built a beautiful life centered on devotion to one another and their family.
Above all, Annette was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was the heart and backbone of her family—a woman whose strength and unwavering dedication held generations together. Her greatest joy came from seeing her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren thrive.
After dedicating many years to raising her three children, Annette began another meaningful chapter in her life when she went to work at the East Greenwich Free Library.
She leaves behind her three loving children, Daniel Roy, Janine Roy, and Diane Carnevale; seven cherished grandchildren, Tristan, Lindsay, Joe, April, Vanessa, Joseph, and Tayla; and seven beloved great-grandchildren, Margo, Oliver, Anneka, Ashley, Nicholas, Lilly, and Nico.
Annette was the last surviving of five sisters. She was predeceased by her beloved sisters, twins Jean and Joan, Constance, and Doris. The sisters shared a lifetime of memories and a bond that lasted for generations.
While her absence will be deeply felt, she will be remembered with gratitude by her family, friends, and neighbors. She was our strength, our foundation, and the heart of our family. She will be missed beyond words.
