Hilda Connors
Hilda Connors, 94, of Riverside, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at the Hattie Ide Chaffee Home. She was the wife of the late George L. Connors, Jr.
Born in Fall River, MA. she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Couto) Santos. Mrs. Connors was a seamstress for Cherry & Webb before she retired. She was a communicant of St. Martha’s Church.
She leaves two sons, George L. Connors and his wife Marilyn of Foster and Timothy J. Connors and his wife Donna of South Carolina, five grandchildren, Hilary Caldow, Adam Caldow, Bryce Connors, Kimberly Caldow, and Cynthia Caldow-Small, ten great-grandchildren, Katerina and Kaeleb Kolinsky, Julia, Emily, Lucy and Moses Medizza, Taylor, James, Justin and Trae Small, two sisters, Irene Pavao and Mary Jane Amarantes and two brothers, Antone Santos and Henry Santos. She was the mother of the late Susan Connors Caldow and sister of the late Delores Medeiros, Joseph Santos, Manuel Santos and Gilbert Santos.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at 9:00 AM from the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Martha’s Church, Pawtucket Avenue.
