Special Thanks

Thank you to Tiffany Bartholemew for organizing our Book Fair at Beckwith Middle School. We thank Jennifer Karamanian for managing the Spring PartyLite Fundraiser at Palmer River. Thank you to Debra Fitzgerald and Catherine Benevides for coordinating the PR Family Movie Night. Families enjoyed a viewing of Hop with children and their blankets covering the cafeteria floor. Thank you to our Nominating Committee, Traci Cady, Karen Deroche, and Colleen Moitoso, for reaching out to many to fill open positions. We thank Andrea Wasylow for her inspiring work to bring Play It Forward to Palmer River. This movement initiative will bring fun exercise to our students and raise funds for many, including, The Rehoboth Helping Hands Food Pantry, Hasbro Children’s Hospital, and The Not For Sale Campaign. Finally, thank you to the volunteers who helped during MCAS testing. We appreciate the time and creativity that our volunteers give so effortlessly.

Upcoming Events

Throughout the months of May and June the PTSA will support many class trips by providing bus transportation for our students to various sites. We are pleased to sponsor a showing of the Gaslight Band to Palmer River students on May 23rd. The Palmer River Talent Show is scheduled for May 25th, two shows with times TBA. The Beckwith Talent Show is scheduled for June 6th at 6p. Come and see the amazing talent of our students, singing, dancing, and comedy acts.
