Rehoboth 10U All-Star Team wins 2012 Rehoboth Summer Slam Tournament

There will be a fundraiser for Jacob Roy, a wonderful young man and member of the RYBSA family and 10U All-Star team who was recently diagnosed with leukemia. All Proceeds will go to The Roy Family to help with Jacob's fight!!!

The event will be held at Barrett's Alehouse - 4171 N. Main St. - Fall River - on Sunday, August 5th at 4 pm. Tickets are $15.00 per person: Price includes: Buffet, Soft Drink and Door Prize Raffle Ticket. Other raffles and a silent auction will also be part of the event.

Tickets sold each weekend at the Martin St. complex during Summer Slam events, Doug’s Music on Rte. 44 in Rehoboth and at Barrett's, Fall River location (15 min. from Martin St.)

Congratulations to Rehoboth’s 10U All-Star team who clinched the “2012 Rehoboth 10U Summer Slam Championship” Sunday, July 22nd against South Plymouth

After being down 5-4 at the end of the third inning, the team was told about Jacob Roy’s presence at the game. He was watching nearby in the a/c. Once the kids realized that Jake would also receive a trophy, they set out to win the game for Jake! They rallied hard, making up Jacob Roy songs as the game progressed, and winning the game 11-6! The coaches presented Jacob Roy with the Game MVP Award and brought him onto the field to take pictures with his team as well as South Plymouth. He received a standing-O, from both sides, as he walked onto the field; there wasn’t a dry eye!
