Posted

In Theatre One’s production of Ayn Rand’s Night of January 16, directed by Peg Saurman Holzemer, 15 regional actors add a modern touch to this totally gripping drama about the rise and fall of a brilliant and ruthless Wall Street financière, Bjorn Faulkner. To the world he was a successful, international, tycoon, head of a vast financial empire. To Karen Andre, Elizabeth Goulart of Fall River, his beautiful business partner and mistress, he was a god-like hero, to be served with her mind, body and soul. To his young wife, Nancy Lee Faulkner, Michaela Bottino of Wareham, he was an element force to be tamed. To his father- in- law, a millionaire bank president, John Graham Whitfield, Bill Driscoll of Plymouth, he was a giant whose single error could be used to destroy him. Others in the cast include; Jess Wilson of Buzzards Bay, Michael Zammito of Duxbury, Frank Piekut of Hanover, John Marzelli of Lakeville, Susan Salvesen of Marion, Kathy Bourne, Jeff Rebell and Linda Merritt of Middleboro, Sheila Kelleher and Bill Driscoll of Plymouth, Judy Ardolino of Rockland, Dale Appel of Stoughton& Sharon and Cheryl Dean of Taunton.
