South Attleboro Lions Club Clam Boil

Posted

Our club, the South Attleboro Lions Club, continues to do humanitarian work in the community, serving the needs of those who are less fortunate. We donate to a variety of activities in the community and to eyesight related organizations such as the Massachusetts Lions Eye Research Fund, the Carroll Center for the Blind, and the Joslin Diabetes Camp, to name a few of the more regional causes. In our own community we help serve the needs of children and adults with varying needs related to promoting better vision and helping those with eye diseases. We build ramps to assist people who cannot leave their home. Food pick-ups at Stop and Shop provide needed food at a local food pantry.

We raise funds through such events as Clam boils, Golf tournaments, Pennies for Sight collections at Yankee Spirits, etc. so that we can follow the Lions Motto of ‘We Serve’.

The South Attleboro Lions Club will run a CLAMBOIL on November 17, Friday, at the Seekonk Rod and Gun Club, at 61 Reed St. in Rehoboth, MA
Social hour is at 6 PM, the Boil begins at 7 PM.
