Selectmen Appoint Pimental to Finance Job

The Rehoboth Board of Selectmen has appointed former selectwoman Sue Pimental to serve as the town’s Director of Finance and Compliance.

Former selectman Gerry Schwall previously served in the position.

“This position is vital to the town,” Chairman Skip Vadnais said Monday.

Pimental will work on a per diem basis until the vetting process is completed.

Pimental served as a member of the Finance Committee for six years and has an extensive accounting background.

“I feel very comfortable jumping into this role,” Pimental said.
