Ronald E. Pacheco, Sr., 81, passed away at Beth Israel Hospital, Plymouth MA, on Friday, February 23, 2024. Born in Providence, RI, on January 11, 1943, Ronald, spent over 45 years of his life contributing his skills as a factory worker and assembler at the A.T. Wall Manufacturing Company. Even after his retirement, Ronald continued to engage with the community, working part-time as a grocery clerk at Stop and Shop in Seekonk.

A long-time resident of Rehoboth since 1978, after moving from Seekonk, Providence, and East Providence, Ronald was an active and devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.

He relished the times spent socializing with friends, engaging in lively card games, and immersing himself in his favorite TV shows. Music was another source of happiness for Ronald; it was not uncommon to find him humming along to a tune or sharing a song that held special meaning for him.

The love and memories Ronald shared with his late wife, Inez D. (Fernandes) Pacheco, were the foundation of a life filled with compassion and mutual respect. He was a guiding light and a source of endless support to his son, Ronald E. Pacheco, Jr. of Rehoboth, MA. Ronald's brothers, Robert Pacheco of Bonita Springs, Florida, and Richard Pacheco of Garnet Valley, PA, along with several nieces and nephews, will remember him as a beacon of kindness and creativity.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2204, at 830am from the Rebello Funeral Home, 901 Broadway, East Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Our lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 984 Taunton Avenue, Seekonk, MA. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 550 Wampanoag Trail, East Providence. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
