Patricia "Pat" Braddock (Vaillancourt)

Patricia "Pat" Braddock (Vaillancourt), a long-time resident of Rehoboth, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2024.

Pat was born in Frenchville, ME, the youngest of 5 siblings and the daughter of the late Patrick and Winifred (Roy) Vaillancourt. Her family relocated to East Providence, RI when she was a child, and she attended East Providence high school and Rhode Island College.

A beloved kindergarten teacher in the Attleboro public school system for 34 years, Pat took great meaning and purpose from shaping her students' first experiences with school. She cared deeply about bringing out the best in each of her students and made lifelong friendships with her fellow teachers. In her retirement, she enjoyed traveling in the U.S. and internationally with friends and family. Pat was a kind, positive, and outgoing person who made friends wherever she went.

A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by her daughter, Amy Braddock, son-in-law Scott Friedman, and grandsons Ben and Alex of Wellesley, MA; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law Joseph Forte of East Providence, RI; and former husband Doug Braddock of Rehoboth, MA.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday April,19,2024 from 4:00-7:00 pm in the Rebello funeral home 901 Broadway East Providence RI .

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday April 20,2024 at 10:00am in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church , 984 Taunton Avenue, Seekonk. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
