Edward J Perry Jr.

Posted

It is with profound sadness we share the passing of Edward J Perry Jr of Rehoboth, beloved partner, father, grandfather, brother, cousin, uncle and friend on January 25, 2024 in Bonita Springs, FL. He was 69 years old.

Born in Rehoboth, MA where he lived his entire life, Eds adventurous spirit carried him around the world. His thirst for learning and experiencing new things served him well as it brought new and oftentimes lifelong friends into his world. Ed enjoyed woodworking, a craft he turned into a career, teaching countless students in his years as an industrial arts teacher at South Coast Educational Collaborative, Martin Middle School and Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School in Seekonk, East Providence and Easton respectively. He also enjoyed golf, biking, scuba diving, and just about anything else that brought him outdoors. Above all else, Ed treasured time with his family and friends, his joy at sitting and laughing with his loved ones is cherished and will stay in our hearts forever.

Ed is survived by his love Krissie Morrissette of Rhode Island and his children Tobi Perry and Kiel Peck of California, and Wesley Perry and Devin McCarthy of Florida. He was much loved Granddad to Declan, Madelynn, Nash, and Alaya. Ed was brother to Linda Lamkin of ME and Alan Perry of Rehoboth. He is also remembered by his cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Sr and Mary (Silvia) Perry.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, February 17th, 2024 from 11am to 2 pm in the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway Taunton

After visiting hours, relatives and friends are invited to join Ed’s family for a celebration of life at 3pm at the Hazelton Golf Club 327 Summer St Rehoboth, MA 02769.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Make a Wish in Eds memory and would be deeply appreciated.
