Mary A. Perry

Mary A. Perry, 98, formerly of Woodward Ave., East Providence, passed away peacefully Monday afternoon, December 14, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Manor, Bristol. Mary was born Aug. 2, 1922, in East Providence, a daughter of the late Manuel A. and Marion (Duarte Carreiro) Perry.

A communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church, she volunteered often for the parish events including the feasts and bazaars. Mary worked for many years as a supervisor at P & B Manufacturing before retiring.

Mary is the sister of Sylvia Telles of East Providence and of the late Joseph Perry, Manuel "Humphrey" Perry, and Henry Perry; the sister-in-law of Rachel Perry of East Providence, the late Joseph "Bud" Telles and the late Dorothy Perry. Mary also leaves her nieces and nephews, David Perry, Donna Alexander, Nancy Jannitto, Karen Rice, Lynn Day and Lori Budniewski; and many great nieces and great nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, Dec. 19, at 10am in St. Francis Xavier Church, 81 No. Carpenter St., East Providence. Burial will be private. Visitation will take place Saturday at church before mass from 9:30am until 10am.
