Townie Volleyball now 8-3, blank Villa-Novans 3-0

East Providence High School boys volleyball is at 8-3 for the season, in 2nd place, after Thursday night’s shutout win over Woonsocket High. EP scored wins of 25-20, 25-21 and 25-20. DJ Lepine and Jordan Rodriguez led the Townies with 10 kills each. EP will take on 8-2 Barrington High on Monday night in a home match. Game time is 6:30. The Townies have several players among league leaders in many categories such as kills, hits, assists and digs. “We’re playing well and hope to keep it going. The team works hard and improves every day with intense practice and play,” said Head Coach Dan Cabral.
