Jacquelyn A. (Cronan) Waters

Jacquelyn A. (Cronan) Waters, 81, of North Broadway, Rumford, passed away late Friday, January 29, 2021 at Evergreen House. She was the wife of the late James R. Waters for 57 years.

Born Feb. 22, 1939, in Providence, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Brennan) Cronan.

Jacquelyn enjoyed spending time with her family, her friends, line dancing, bowling, reading, puzzle books and East Providence Senior Center Trips.

She leaves her daughters, Kimberly Thompson and Susan Towne, both of Riverside; four grandchildren, Kayla Botham, of Warwick, Kristyn (Michael) Haviland of Collingswood, NJ, Amanda Jones (Anthony Rivelli) of Johnston, and Jason Thompson of Riverside; and her great grandson, Elliot Haviland. She was the sister of Kathleen Enos (Ronald) of Riverside and the late Beverly Rebello.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, February. 4, at 10:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, Taunton Ave., East Providence. Burial will be private. Visitation will take place in the church before mass Thursday morning from 9:00 until 10 a.m. Social distancing and wearing of face masks will be required.

Jackie’s family will hold a celebration of her life after the restrictions of COVID-19 are lifted.
