Vote Nelson Almeida for Selectman

Hello Seekonk!!  I’m running for re-election and I’m respectfully asking for your vote. In 7 1/2 years I’ve been fair, consistent and respectful on our board.

I may of not have been born & raised in Seekonk but my family and I have made it our home and we’ve been welcomed by all since 2006. My oldest daughters who are now in college, are Seekonk High School graduates.

In the past 6 months my family, my nationality, and family businesses have been attacked on social media. In my 7 1/2 years of public service to Seekonk this is a first and our town didn’t deserve to see these distasteful acts. My only hope is that you the voter can see that this was done as an attempt to get their candidate of choice in office. Should that happen, this negativity and act of division vs. unity unfortunately could end up on the Board of Selectmen and we are better than this!!

I serve our town with great respect and pride and make tough decisions to only see our town strive and  succeed at all times. I will continue to support our town projects, our town employees, and as always the School Department to ensure our students get the best education. I may not please everyone, but being fair, consistent, and respectful is what I offer to continue unity amongst us all.

On June 30th please come out to vote as safely as possible. The town has put in various safety precautions to keep us all safe. Once again I’m respectfully asking for your vote. I thank you and God Bless.
