Thomas E. McCann, Jr.

Thomas E. McCann, Jr. 87, of Legion Way, Riverside, died unexpectedly on August 13, 2022 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Claire M. (Coelho) McCann.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Thomas E. McCann Sr. and Bernice (Hardesty) Lessard, he lived in East Providence for 61 years.

Mr. McCann was a driver salesman for My Bread Baking Company for 35 years.

Thomas was a graduate of Barrington High School Class of 1952 and attended the University of Rhode Island. He enjoyed photography, reading and golfing.

He is survived by two sons, Thomas E. “Tim” McCann III and his wife Carlene Casciano-McCann of Greenville and Mark R. McCann of Riverside and a granddaughter, Lindsay McCann of Greenville.

A private Burial will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
