Selectmen Appoint Member to Facilities Study Committee

Posted

The Rehoboth Board of Selectmen appointed Aaron Morse to serve as a Town Representative on the Dighton-Rehoboth School Committee’s Facilities Study Committee. The appointment was made at the board’s January 15 meeting. Morse, a web developer, was one of two candidates for the appointment.

The Committee, which will review the 2019 NESDEC (New England School Development Council) report, will be made up of town school committee members, members of the school department and administration, and representatives from Dighton and Rehoboth.

The first meeting is scheduled for January 23. The public forums are “to be a method of strengthening school/community partnerships by sharing data and soliciting a wide variety of citizen input, opinions, and feedback,” explained Selectmen Chairman Gerry Schwall.
