Paula M. (Ryding) Archambault, 61, of Read Street, Riverside, died peacefully on December 25, 2024 surrounded by her loving family at Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of Ronald A. Archambault.
Born in Providence, a daughter of Gloria L. (Perry) Ryding of East Providence and the late John L. Ryding, she was a lifelong resident of Riverside.
Mrs. Archambault was a receptionist at Bradley Hospital and ADP for many years before retiring in 1997.
Paula was a communicant of St. Brendan Church, Riverside. She was a volunteer for the East Providence School Department Elementary Schools and was a member of the PTA. She also was a former Girl Scout Leader and Den Mother.
She enjoyed going to the beach, gardening, decorating, holiday celebrations and spending time with her family and friends.
Besides her mother and husband of 31 years, she is survived by a daughter, Ashley V. Chaloux and her husband Colin of Riverside; a son, Luke D. Archambault of Riverside; two grandchildren, Leo and Stella; two sisters, Deborah L. Castellano of Barrington and Suzanne D. Ryding of East Providence; a brother, John L. Ryding Jr. of NC; several nieces and nephews and brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Tracey Archambault of Seekonk. She was the sister of the late Mary-Katherine Kane.
Calling Hours will be held on Friday January 10, 2025 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside from 3-8 p.m.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday January 11, 2025 in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 12 noon.
