Orianne M. Leary

Orianne M. Leary, 78, formerly of Belmont Avenue, East Providence, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Rhode Island Hospital.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Leo F. and Martha F. (Carpenter) Leary. Orianne was a Human Resource Specialist for the United States Postal Service for 43 years before she retired in 2009. She was a communicant of St. Martha's Church and also a member of the East Providence Community Chorus.

She leaves one sister, Catherine A. Leary of East Providence, two brothers, Michael F. Leary of Seekonk and Leo F. Leary, Jr. of Springfield, Ma., eight nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Jane Leary.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 9:00 AM from the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Martha's Church, Pawtucket Avenue. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 5-8 PM.
