New School Business Administrator in Seekonk

Posted

Seekonk School Superintendent Rebecca Kidwell announced Victoria Fazioli has joined the district as the acting School Business Administrator, following the resignation of Ryan McGee.

Fazioli previously served the district as the Human Resources Manager. Prior to that, Fazioli served as a Senior Credit Analyst at Sensata Technologies in Attleboro.

“I’m ready to accept the challenges that we have for the upcoming budget season and negotiations,” Fazioli said. “So I’m ready and prepared.”

Kidwell told the School Committee Monday that McGee had completed the FY’26 financial review prior to his departure and the district has $72,191 to “turn back.”

“This would, by past practice, be split into two-thirds school capital stabilization, one-third special education stabilization. And we would intend to continue that pattern unless the school committee had a different preference.”

Kidwell reported student enrollment has remained steady.

“You can see that Seekonk High is up slightly with a small graduating class leaving and one that’s about average size for us coming in,” Kidwell stated. “And I’m still thrilled that the kindergarten at Aitken (Elementary) is 75 (students) and the kindergarten at Martin (Elementary) is 72 (students). So when you look at these numbers, you can see that it’s really the first grade and the fifth grade that have a significant imbalance between the two schools, and that’s something we’ll seek to continue to address with the buffer zone.”

Kidwell noted the sixth grade class at Hurley Middle School is the “largest class that we have.”

“I’m happy to see a relatively reliable, stable overall number coming through the elementary grades,” Kidwell said.

As for the high school, Kidwell responded to a question from member Emily Field about ninth and tenth grade class sizes, saying she believed the district was “lower on students exiting to other high schools.”

According to figures provided by the Massachusetts Department of Education, for the 2025-2026 school year, the district had a total of 2,009 students. Seekonk High School had 488 students.
