East Providence, RI – June 5, 2026 – Munroe Dairy, Rhode Island’s trusted purveyor of farm-fresh dairy and local goods since 1881, is pleased to announce that CEO Kayla Viveiros has been named to Meals on Wheels of Rhode Island’s Mission Impact Committee.
The Mission Impact Committee supports the programming that promotes health equity and improves health outcomes, consistent with the Meals on Wheels mission, values, and long‑term strategic vision. The Committee provides guidance and oversight related to program effectiveness, service quality, outcome measurement, and continuous learning, and serves as the Board’s primary body for monitoring mission‑aligned performance and impact.
“It is an honor to be invited to join Meals on Wheels in this capacity,” said Kayla Viveiros, CEO, Munroe Dairy. “The work that Meg and her team does to ensure some of the most at-risk Rhode Islanders are cared for and thriving is inspirational, and I am looking forward to contributing to that mission.”
Viveiros and Munroe Dairy also recently donated 600 frozen “Munroe Meals” to Meals on Wheels of Rhode Island.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Kayla to Meals on Wheels of Rhode Island,” said Meghan Grady, Executive Director. “Her insights and expertise will strengthen our work as we advance our mission and implement our 2030 Strategic Plan, with a focus on quality improvement and operational excellence to better serve Rhode Islanders.”
Viveiros joined Munroe Dairy as chief executive officer in 2025, selected for her proven ability to strengthen operations, modernize systems, and lead people-centered organizations. She brings national-scale operational leadership experience to Munroe Dairy, having previously led strategic initiatives supporting small and mid-sized manufacturers and working closely with federal and state partners to drive sustainable growth and long-term performance.
Prior to joining Munroe Dairy, Viveiros worked at Polaris MEP, a nonprofit organization that provides improvement solutions to Rhode Island manufacturers to help them achieve sustainable and profitable growth. There, she led strategic supply chain resilience initiatives supporting small and medium-sized manufacturers.
