Mary Huber (Santos), 93, of East Providence, passed away peacefully at Hattie Ide Chaffee Home, Riverside, RI. She was the loving wife of the late Howard John P. Huber.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Rebello) Santos. A lifelong resident of East Providence, she was a communicant of Saint Margaret's Church, Rumford.

Mary graduated from CCRI at the age of 68. She received a degree in Fine Arts fulfilling an enduring wish to attain her college degree. She was a member of the Rhode Island Watercolor Society and won several awards. She enjoyed displaying her works of art at several venues, including a show at the Weaver Library and the Arnold Mills Community House.

Mary had many interesting jobs during her long life. She was a department manager at Hasbro Industries, an assistant to the sales manager at Bernat Yarns and the Office Manager at Flint Ink Corporation until her retirement.

She is survived by her children, Eileen (Robert) Trottier of Cumberland, Maureen Minicucci of Seekonk, Michael (Elizabeth) Huber of Providence, and Thomas Huber of East Providence with whom she resided; six grandchildren, Michelle (Raymond) Voyer, Kristen (Edward) Fulton, Melanie (James) Bardsley, Melissa (Romuald) Maher, Michael J. Huber, and Gregory S. Minicucci. She also leaves 6 great grandchildren, Rachel and Sarah Bardsley, Meaghan and Sean Maher, Navy Reservist Ethan Minicucci, and Evan Klowan; as well as her sister-in-law Elizabeth Santos, along with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Manuel Santos Jr, Richard Santos, Barbara LeBeau, and Carol LeBeau. She was the mother-in-law of the late Gregory A. Minicucci.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Maria Rivet and Juliana Veira, for taking such good care of Mary at home. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Margaret Church, 1098 Pawtucket Avenue, Rumford. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
