John T. Hofmann 70, passed away on June 3, 2022, after an illness. He was a longtime resident of Rumford, R.I. and Brewster, Ma. John was born in NYC to the late Eileen and John Hofmann of Garden City, N.Y. He was the husband of Margaret (Brady)Hofmann. He is also survived by his brother Richard of Wynnewood, Pa., his sister Susan Marks of Garden City, N.Y., a niece, nephew and many cousins.

John grew up in Garden City, N.Y., graduating from Chaminade High School and Manhattan College. Upon settling in Rhode Island in 1977, he embarked on a long career as a successful Real Estate Broker, retiring in 2016. He was a former board member of the Pawtucket Lions Club, Catholic Charities Major Gifts Committee, Pawtucket Boys and Girls Club, Instant-List, Northern R.I. Board of Realtors and the Manhattan College Alumni Association.

Private burial took place on Long Island. A memorial Mass will be said on July 24, 2022 at 6pm at St. Margaret's Church, Rumford, R.I. with a reception to follow at Avenue N.
