EPLAC hosts Puberty and Hygiene Workshop

Posted

The East Providence Local Advisory Committee For Special Education, (EPLAC) welcomes all to the next meeting and workshop on Wednesday November 20th at 6:30 pm. This meeting will feature a workshop for parents, pre-teens, and teens: “All Of Us Grow Up” A puberty and hygiene workshop presented by EP’s own “Mr. K”, Mike Kirkutis.

Our puberty and hygiene workshop will provide a great opportunity for parents to build a communication bridge with their pre-teens and teens. Families will understand the physical and emotional changes that happen during puberty and develop strategies and routines that can be used at home, school, and in public.

Please join us Wednesday November 20th at 6:30 in the Martin Middle School Library, 111 Brown Street, East Providence.

* Parents, your pre-teens, and teens are welcome to attend!*
