EPHS 'Herd' Student Spotlight. January - Ava Mendence. December - Jack McKnight

The EPHS Herd student support group is sponsoring a member spotlight each month. The first spotlight was Jack McKnight in December. The second Herd member to be featured is Ava Mendence for January. Attached in the photo section are Ava's comments describing her experience.

Below are the comments of Jack McKnight:

DECEMBER 2022 HERD Spotlight was Jack McKnight.

Jack’s comments:

“My name is Jack McKnight and I'm a senior member of the "Herd". I play baseball for the school team and I've been named one of the captains for my upcoming senior year. I also committed to Rhode Island College to play baseball which is pretty exciting for me. My favorite class this year is probably Anatomy & Physiology. If you study and remember the different parts of the body, it will stick with you and you will do well in the class. I also think it has a direct "real-world" application as I'm learning more about my body and nutrition with working out more. I think the best part of the Herd is the energy it brings for students inside and out the classroom. It allows for my classmates and I to have fun at the games with the themes, but also try to be loud and energetic for whatever team we're supporting. I hope that we can continue that support to the spring, with our baseball season and other sports. The field is right on campus now, and I'm excited to play on it for my senior year.”
