Elvia Brown, 95, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021.

She was the wife of the late Hugh H. Brown.

Born in East Providence, she was the daughter of the late Elvio and Anna (Danella) Sepe.

Mrs. Brown was a Supervisory Aide for Emma G. Whiteknact School for over 40 years before retiring in 1996. She also worked as a sample maker for School House Candy in Pawtucket.

She leaves two daughters, Paula A. Ferguson and her husband Lt. Frank Ferguson, E.P.P.D, Ret. of Tucson, Arizona, and Robin A. Valley of East Providence, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Peter Sepe of Warren.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at 11:00 AM from the PERRY-MCSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a burial to follow at 12:00 in Swan Point Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5-7. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Rhode Island, 1210 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston, RI 02920.
