Elsie M. Chadwick

Elsie M. Chadwick, 103, of South Broadway, East Providence, died peacefully on November 29, 2021 at the Waterview Villa Health Center, East Providence, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late John P. Chadwick Sr.

Born in Cumberland, a daughter of the late James M. and Elsie (Clegg) Armfield, she lived in East Providence for 8 years previously residing in Lincoln.

Mrs. Chadwick was a Supervisor at the A.T. Cross Company for 17 years before retiring in 1980.

Elsie enjoyed knitting, crocheting and spending time with her loving grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their gratitude for the loving support and care of our mother to her Waterview Villa family.

She is survived by a son, John P. Chadwick Jr. and his wife Pamela of East Providence; two daughters, Kathleen A. German of Warwick and Claire M. Garon of North Providence; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Stephen F. Chadwick and sister of the late Elizabeth Rinaldi and mother-in-law of the late George German and Steven Garon Sr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside on Friday December 3, 2021 from 10-11 a.m. followed by a Graveside Service in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland at 1 p.m. Flowers are respectfully omitted.
