Edward S. Saieta, Jr.

Edward S. Saieta, Jr. 85, of East Providence passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024. He was the husband of the late Sandra A. (Davis) Saieta.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Edward S. Saieta, Sr. and Mary (Perry) Saieta. Edward was a payroll clerk for the East Providence Police Department for 30 years until he retired. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and family in their summer home in East Matunuck and in later years Jamestown before resettling back in East Providence. He adored his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandson. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

He leaves one daughter, Kimberly A. Fogarty, and her Husband John of East Providence, one granddaughter, Erin L. Montanari and her husband Nico of Riverside, one grandson, Patrick J. Fogarty, and his wife Kendra of East Providence, and one great-grandson, Aiden Fogarty. He was the father of the late Robin Saieta.

His calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 4-7 PM in the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence, RI. Burial will be private.
