East Providence, RI – On Monday, East Providence Police responded to Cricket Wireless located at 328 Warren Avenue for a report of a possible robbery. Investigating officers obtained the descriptions of two males that demanded money from a store employee. Officers reported that the suspects locked the door behind them upon entering the store. A brief altercation ensued before both suspects left the establishment in a black Nissan Altima.
Using victim’s statements, surveillance video, and Flock Safety Cameras, the vehicle was located by patrol officers in the Riverside section of the city. The vehicle was occupied by Isaiah Dalomba, age 22, and Temilolluwa Akano, age 20, both from Pawtucket. Dalomba and Temilolluwa Akano were positively identified as those responsible for the attempted robbery at the Cricket Wireless store. They were placed under arrest and transported to the police station to be booked.
Dalomba and Temilolluwa Akano were both arraigned on the following charges:
• Assault with Intent to Commit a Felony
• Conspiracy
Dalomba and Temilolluwa Akano were also presented as bail violators on previous criminal charges. Both were transported to the ACI until their arraignment at District Court.
