East Providence Lion Danielle Petsch Named to National Teacher of Tomorrow Program

The East Providence Lions Club proudly recognizes Lion Danielle Petsch for her selection to the National Federation of the Blind’s distinguished Teacher of Tomorrow program. This national professional development initiative supports educators of blind and visually impaired students, with only 20 participants chosen from across the United States each year.

Through mentorship, training, and collaboration, the program helps educators strengthen their understanding of high expectations, independence, and equality for blind individuals. Participants learn innovative nonvisual teaching strategies and gain tools to better empower their students to achieve success in school and beyond.
