Dorothy M. Cronin

Dorothy M. Cronin, 95, formerly of Allerton Avenue, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Greenwich Farms. She was the wife of the late Roger A. Cronin to whom she was married 63 years.

Born in Riverside, she was a daughter of the late Wilfred J. and Katherine V. (Kelly) Lang. Mrs. Cronin was a volunteer for Hospice for many years.

She and her husband were among the original founding members of St. Martha's Church and she was also a member of the Rosary & Altar Society. She had a very strong faith that guided her thru out her life. She was a tremendous baker and always enjoyed baking for her family.

She leaves three daughters, Patricia McKenney and her husband Mark of Warwick, Claire Franey and her husband Myles of York, Maine and Cathleen Carr and her husband Joe of York, Maine, two sons, Stephen A. Cronin and his wife Jane of Swansea and Paul J. Cronin and his wife Michele of Atlanta, Georgia, 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Everett F. Lang, Claire E. Chretien and Catherine V. Murphy.

Her funeral and visitation will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022 at 9:30 AM in the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Margaret's Church, 1098 Pawtucket Avenue, Rumford.
