Carol (Leppanen) LeBaron, 73, of Rehoboth passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023 at the Miriam Hospital, Providence, RI.

Born on January 20, 1950, in Salem, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Patricia (Letteney) Leppanen.

Carol grew up in Peabody, MA where she attended school and graduated from Peabody High School in 1968, she then went on to earn her Associates of Science degree from North Shore Community College. Carol worked as a Medical Biller at Wilmington Regional Health, NE Memorial Hospital in Stoneham, Beverly Hospital, and Caritas Healthcare (now Steward) prior to her retirement in 2012.

She was an active member of the Attleboro YMCA and was an election volunteer for the town of Rehoboth. Carol enjoyed socializing with the many friends she made attending the morning aqua fitness classes. She cherished her time with friends visiting the casino, weekly lunch dates, loved entertaining and spoiling the grandkids, often taking them to her childhood haunts, like Salem Willows and Revere Beach. Carol took great care ofanimals like her 4-legged nephew, Nemo and grand-dogs "Sophie" and "Roxi" as well as grand-cats "Mr. Kitty" and "Skittles" who adored her and the treats she always had on hand.

Carol is survived by her son Michael and daughter-in-law, Kari LeBaron who she lived with in Rehoboth, MA since 2006 and her son, Jason LeBaron; her siblings, Linda Uttaro, David Leppanen and Tom Leppanen and she was pre-deceased by her brother Scott Leppanen; Proud Nana to Ashley Height of Hope Mills, NC, Chase LeBaron of Rehoboth, MA and his fiancé, Judy Nguyen, Morgan LeBaron of Rehoboth, MA and Zachary Lynch; she also leaves her great-grandson, Benjamin Height of Hope Hills, NC

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation from 12 – 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro.
