Carol Ann (Chisholm), Brickel

Carol Ann (Chisholm), Brickel, 79, formerly of Burnside Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on November 9, 2022 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH. She was the beloved wife of William Brickel.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late William F. and Alice (Dolley) Chisholm, she lived in Riverside for over 60 years.

Mrs. Brickel was a graduate of East Providence High School and the Arthur Angelo School of Cosmetology & Hair Design in Providence.

Carol was a communicant of St. Brendan Church. She was a member of the Rhode Island Chapter of the Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs and was a former a PT Recess Monitor at Waters School.

Carol was everyone’s mother or friend.

Besides her husband of 58 years, she is survived by three daughters, Lynda Gaboriault of Pawtucket, Diane Andrade-Garcia of Vermont and Kathy Ouellette of Vermont; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held on Friday November 18, 2022 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours are Friday morning 8-9 a.m.
