Antonio A. Figueiredo

Antonio A. Figueiredo, 88, of Winter Haven, Florida and formerly of Seekonk, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024 at his home. He was the husband of Gracinda (Lucas) Figueiredo to whom he was married 65 years.

Born in Canas De Sen Horim, Portugal he was the son of the late Joao and Ana (Alves) Figueiredo. Mr. Figueiredo worked at American Insulated Wire Company in Pawtucket for 35 years before he retired in 2001. He was a member of Uniao Portuguesa Beneficente and Amigos da Terceira.

Besides his wife he leaves one daughter, Anna Paula Whyte and her husband John, one grandson, Nicholas R. Alix and his wife Brittany, one granddaughter, Krysten Massa and three great-grandchildren, Noah, Madeline and Matteo. He was the brother of the late Henry Mendes.

His funeral and visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 8:30 AM in the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 984 Taunton Avenue, Seekonk. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
