October Teen Services at Seekonk Public Library

October Events for Tweens & Teens
Our Teen programs this month probably couldn't be any more different from each other--Videogame Coding and Improv Acting! Sign up for one or both, and be sure to check out the Teen section of the library whenever you stop in. Our Make Your Mark whiteboards are still going strong, and this month we have a new opportunity for tweens and teens in grades 6 through 12 to share your thoughts. Right next to the self-checkout machines, you'll find the Rec Rack, a display shelf that needs your input! Just grab your book recommendation from its normal place on the shelf and place it on the display rack. If you want to leave a review for your selection, you can fill out a reaction slip and leave it in the book!

Teen Advisory Board
Thursday, October 1 at 3:30 PM
**Please note: Meetings are for TAB members only. To join, visit seekonkpl.org/teens and download the TAB application. Email the finished application to teens@seekonkpl.org  or turn it in at the Research Help Desk in the library.

Your opinion matters! If you’re in grade 6 through 12, then you have a chance to make a difference at your library by joining the Teen Advisory Board (TAB). During the school year, we will meet once a month at 3:30 PM to share ideas about upcoming programs and discuss how we can make the most out of the library’s services for tweens and teens. This is an opportunity to practice leadership, collaboration, and civic engagement and to take an active role in shaping the library’s impact on your community. Becoming a member of the board requires a commitment to attend meetings regularly.
